Dear friend,
We all carry stories inside us. Some are filled with laughter and victory, but others carry deep wounds, stories of loss, betrayal, heartbreak, or pain we thought we’d never survive. It can feel easier to hide those stories, to lock them away and never speak of them again. But I’ve learned that healing begins when we start to share.
When I first began telling my story, the years of chronic pain, my husband walking away after 25 years of marriage, the loneliness that followed… it felt raw and uncomfortable. But as I spoke, I began to see how God was using my words to touch others. People would reach out and say, “That’s exactly how I feel.” Suddenly, what once felt like my private pain became a bridge of understanding and connection.
You see, God never wastes a single tear. Every scar you carry is proof of His strength within you. When you share your story, you remind others that they’re not alone in their wilderness. Revelation 12:11 says, “They overcame by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony.” Your story has power. It’s your weapon of hope.
Maybe you’re afraid to speak. Maybe the pain still feels fresh. That’s okay. Start small. Write your story in a journal. Whisper it in prayer. Share a piece of it with a trusted friend. Healing isn’t about rushing; it’s about releasing. Every time you give your pain a voice, you loosen its hold on your heart.
And remember, your story isn’t only for others, it’s also for you. When you speak it aloud, you start to see it differently. What once looked like brokenness becomes evidence of survival. What once felt like shame becomes a testimony of grace.
God is using your journey, even the parts you don’t understand yet. He’s weaving every detail together for His glory. Jeremiah 29:11 promises, “For I know the plans I have for you… plans to give you hope and a future.”
So, to you, the one who feels invisible, who wonders if anyone would understand, please know this: You are seen. You are heard. And your story matters.
Your voice can bring light to someone else’s darkness. Your honesty can spark healing in another soul.
God did not promise us an easy path, but He did promise to walk beside us every step of the way. When you share what He’s done in your life, you become living proof that His promises are true.
You may feel like you’re still in the cocoon, waiting for transformation, but soon you will emerge stronger and freer than ever before. You will soar like an eagle, not because life got easier, but because God carried you higher.
With faith and love,
